Health and Safety Reps (HSRs) improve health and safety communication and engagement between management and their teams. HSRs play a key role in ensuring a workplace’s health and safety system is supported by safe work practices

This workshop includes:

  • Understanding the roles and responsibilities of an HSR and their employer, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
  • Understanding how an HSR can be supported by the workplace and WorkSafe
  • Understanding effective communication and risk management activities
  • Actions for stopping unsafe work
  • Actions for issuing a PIN
EntryLearners must be:
– 16 years or older
– a New Zealand or Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
